Compared to other breakfast places (lets be honest a really low bar) this place is pretty good. The atmosphere is kinda artsy and relaxed. The wait staff is decent and the prices take all this into account. Its not cheap but its ok. The food is slightly above average with some notable mishaps like using corned beef as a base for smoked brisket (still taste sourish). I have been told that the lunch options are about the same or a little better. Bottom line this is a decent choice if you are close but food or price may leave you unsatisfied.
Having travelled in from out of town and trying the ordinary cookie-cutter chain places, my business counterparts tried this place. We were surprised (compared to other chain stores) and impressed with the friendliness if the staff. Service was great, we all thought food was excellent. Food was in such big portions that we were pleasantly satisfied and got our money's worth! Menu had a lot of creative options and choices available. We will definately return again! Keep up the good work and good food Meli's!
Bananas Foster French Toast! With Ice Cream! Seriously the best thing I have had in a long time. The crapes my wife had looked just as good. You cannot possibly be disappointed. Service is top notch.
I had the banana bread French toast. It was very good, our waitress was very nice. Place was clean and prices were average but you get a good amount of food. My sister ordered a breakfast and was politely surprised that she got 4 eggs, don't know if that was normal or what. I would strongly suggest this place for breakfast and lunch. The only bad thing is they close early in the day.
Great food, great service. Our new "go to" place. Our waitresses are even nicer than the excellent meals - and affordable!
