Ate at Bucky's for breakfast just before Christmas and I will not return. Food was cold, someone in our group ( 7 ) had a tomato juice and it made them sick, tasted bad and had something floating in it? Very poor service, they didn't seem to care about the things that were wrong with our orders, asked several times for refills on coffee.
Wasn't impressed. We got the soup and sandwich special. The grilled cheese and bacon was so skimpy. Soup was ok. But for $6.39 it could have been a little more impressive. Service was ok, nothing outstanding. Can say we've been there, but can gladly say we won't be back. Not worth it when there are so many more better restaurants; Uncle Ernies, cafe Meli, Theo&Stacy, just to name a few that are well known.
Classic diner with great staff. Typical greasy spoon fare, very affordable, great coffee.
We were a party of eight, and every one of us had an issue either with our food or the lousy service. All our meals were cold...to the extent that butter would not melt on the pancakes or French toast! We got one refill on our coffee.
What's that floating in my tomato juice? At first sip noticed a distinctly odd taste and texture. Upon further investigation, discovered something white and viscous swirled through the juice. Returned it to the waitress immediately...no apology or replacement offered. Had to remind them to take it off my bill.
It was unanimous...we will never eat there again.
Great food. Friendly staff. Only issue is I have is that they start getting ready to close at least a half hr early. For those eating, you start to feel to rushed and in tje way as employees are sweeping the floor next you, cleaning off your table while you're eating and stacking chairs around you.
