I went to the Portage, Michigan store today around 4:00 pm to pick up my order. I got in the customer service line as soon as I walked in the door. After about 5 minutes the line went from a few people to over 10. When it was my turn, Dawn the lady working at customer service told the guy to step forward and then told me "the line starts over there" as she pointed. The line that she pointed to was the regular checkout line and I needed customer service. I explained to Dawn that I was there to pick up my order and she told me to get in the back of the line. I went to the back of the line and everyone immediately apologized and asked me to get in front of them because they say me waiting there before they even got to the store and when there wasn't a line at all. I have spent a ton of money with this company and I have recommended this company to all my family, friends, and co-workers. It is sad to say that I am forced to revoke my recommendation because this behavior is unacceptable. To make matters worse Dawn looked up at me several times during the 5 minutes as the line grew and not once did she inform me that I should get in the line for a regular check out not customer service. Above the customer service desk it instructs customers to wait there for online orders, returns, exchanges and so on. Dawn is the perfect example of what not to do and how not to treat people. She should not work with customers but in the back somewhere.

This place has a good variety of household goods. The staff is often friendly and helpful. Their prices are a little high but you can usually get 20% off on most things except electronics.
The item variety is good but the prices can be shocking at times
Found what i was looking for quickly and at a reasonable price. Any specialized kitchen tool that you can think of you can find here. I love this place!
