Well not a great experience ....first the floor was filthy then the service was lame at best ...seemed like everything asked was a hassle ...received chips that were so oily that I took them back when presented with the new order was giving a raw look and a sigh.... Will not return to this location !!
Not normally one to complain about any food place, not even McDonald's but this place with no hesitation gets something wrong, every time. Love the new shrimp tacos a ton, but every time I come here I'm disappointed in them because they always mess stuff up. I open my bag to eat my tacos, and the taco feels small like it barely has anything in it, I go to open it up and sure enough. Two pieces of shrimp, one ripped off piece of lettuce on the end and a little bit of salsa verde. Really happy there's one on Drake now, you might as well go there because this place is not worth your time or money. Literally the McDonalds across the street does a better job.
We came into the Qdoba at 6800 South Westnedge in Portage Michigan at 6:00pm, while we were served quickly, the attitudes of 2 employees (both young men, one building meals, the other running the register) clearly leave a lot to be desired. My boyfriend asked for chopped jalapenos on his meal- we know it's not something that is out, as we've had to ask for it before at other stores, he sighed saying they weren't supposed to do that. He did it, we thanked him for doing so. We checked out, and received our chips with our meal... You could see that some of the chips were wet looking - I know that they are sprayed to get the salt to stick... But when we got to our table and I picked one up, they were completely limp from grease. Over half of the chips were like that. We took them back up, and asked for another order- again we get the sigh, as if it were a bother. We got new chips- these were mostly stale, but at least they weren't dripping with grease. Honestly, we have stayed away from this particular store for over a year because service and general cleanliness of the dining room were terrible, so we choose to drive out of our way to the one at 3150 South Westnedge. Lately that one has been lacking, so we thought we would try here again. Nothing has changed. Most of the tables in the dining room were dirty, and there was only one other table of patrons eating when we came in. The sweet tea was so weak that it was barely yellow. Terrible experience.
Excellent food and service! My favorite Qdoba in the area. Open until 11 pm daily.
