Didn't have the "correct" key in stock. This didn't stop them from trying to help. They got out micrometers to check for a key that may work mechanically. After finding one that measured correct. Cut, but didn't charge me. Said if it doesn't work we will have correct key tomorrow for you. Doesn't get any better than this in customer service in my opinion.
My husband and I were travelling overseas and we had a failure of a hot water system at our apartment and the only person who had the key was me. So we called them and they went out almost immediately and removed our key lock which they managed to save and put on a code lock so we never have this problem again with no-one being able to access our basement. Thank you so much for your help and efficiency . We would definitely recommend using this business.
I recently bought a home and was starting to feel uncomfortable, knowing the neighbors knew our codes. Based on extremely high google ratings, I called Michigan Security & Lock. I spoke with Dustin on the phone. He was very patient with me. I placed an order, then changed the order--basically, I was all over the board. At no time did Dustin rush me or make me feel silly. They accommodated my request for a Saturday installation at no extra fee. The day of the installation (4 touchpad deadbolts, lever handles and a reworking), Dustin was joined by Paul. Both were again extremely professional and polite--just good people. Paul worked steadily and efficiently--I was amazed how quickly he carried out his top-notch work. Dustin did the same. Poor Dustin was charged with the task of teaching me how to program the new locks and reset the passcodes. He was extremely patient--again, he never rushed me or made me feel silly. Their pricing was fair and was laid out prior to the service call. Everything about this experience was 5-star. Thanks, Dustin and Paul.
These guys are the BEST! Incredibly friendly, quick, eager to help, and so much more affordable than I expected. They bailed me out of a tricky lock situation the same day I brought it in. Will 100% go back to them and nowhere else if I need help again.
