I have been really happy with this pediatrician until today. My 3 month old (adjusted age 2 months) was seen in the ER on Friday for fever and dehydration. Doctor wanted him rechecked today. We already had a 9:40 appointment so I thought great. But with 4 other sick kiddos and myself sick and up all night we slept through it. When I called the portage office at 12:33 pm on 3-27 I was told there was no availability. Which I can understand. What isn't acceptable is that when I asked if oshtemo had availability because he's so little and I was worried about him, she responded "if you were worried you should've gone to your appt this morning." I feel like this was unnecessarily rude and snarky. I'm seriously considering finding a new pediatrician over this. It made me feel even worse about missing his appt. I'm barely holding it together today: feeling defeated and struggling with pp depression, sick, and exhausted. As sillly as it sounds this was the straw that broke the camels back and sent me into tears today.
