It's so great to have a bookstore back in the mall. New and used books at great prices.
I called the book store today to introduce myself and find out more about this book store as I wasn't familiar with it. I work with a large population of avid readers and was hopeful to have another place to shop and to discuss the possibility of doing volunteer work there. When I told the manager/owner who I was and the company I work for, he hung up on me. Suspecting by the tone of his voice in our very short conversation, that he had purposefully hung up on me, I called back to find out why. When he answered, I said who I was and that we had gotten disconnected and he proceeded to say in a very angry voice, that he "didn't have time for this, had customers in line," and hung up on me again. I am very shocked that anyone operating a business that relies on customer purchases to survive, would treat anyone who calls the store in this manner. Every person who calls is a potential customer. I will not be supporting this business, there are far too many other locally owned book stores that are courteous, appreciative and intelligent enough to know that customer service is the key to a successful business.
He has always been gracious to his customers he helps you find what you need even will special order it. Idk what that lisa is talking about but its not like him its usually him all by hisself you just cant call in evenings he usually gets busy after 5pm.
